A standard deep socket can't always slide over an oxygen sensor because the wiring harness exits directly from the top. This kit gives you slotted and offset options designed specifically around that problem.
Slotted designs provide clearance around the attached sensor wiring.
Offset sockets help reach sensors where a straight socket has little room.
Included thread chasers help clean and refresh existing threaded openings.
The Slot Gives the Harness Somewhere to Go
The long 22mm oxygen sensor socket features an open side that allows the sensor wire to pass through while the socket engages the hex body of the sensor.
Offset the Ratchet Away From the Obstruction
Two offset oxygen sensor sockets move the drive point away from the center of the sensor, helping you work around nearby components in crowded engine bays and exhaust areas.
Clean the Threads Before Reinstallation
Heat, carbon and corrosion can leave sensor threads dirty or difficult to engage. The included thread chasers help clean and refresh existing threads before installing a replacement sensor.

Different sensor positions call for different approaches. This kit gives you multiple drive and socket styles so you can choose the configuration that fits the job.

The metal tools are designed for automotive maintenance and repeated oxygen-sensor service. A protective oil coating may be present during storage and shipping to help reduce corrosion.

Select the socket that gives the best access, route the wire through the opening, fully engage the sensor hex, then apply controlled torque with the appropriate ratchet.
Choose long or offset based on available clearance.
